Postdoctoral fellow
mskilab is interested in postdoctoral fellows with epigenetics and chromatin biology experience. Candidates with experience implementing epigenomic assays (ChIP-seq, chromatin capture [3C, 4C, 5C, Hi-C], methylation sequencing, and ATAC-seq) are strongly preferred. We encourage applications from individuals with model organism backgrounds and interests in human disease biology and/or developing expertise in advanced bioinformatics and data science approaches. To apply, please send a cover letter, CV, and two letters of reference to mski@mskilab.org.
Senior research technologist
mskilab seeks a senior technologist with proficiency in molecular biology, tissue processing, and cell culture techniques. The technologist will carry out independent benchwork, interact with students and postdoctoral fellows, maintain laboratory inventory, oversee lab organization and regulatory activities. As additional staff join mskilab, this individual will have the opportunity for promotion to Lab Manager.
Rotation and independent study
We welcome PhD and M.D., Ph.D. rotation students from the Ti-institutional CBM and Weill Cornell PBSB programs. Rotation projects can involve any of the primary research directions in the lab, and will include learning next generation sequencing pipelines, basic and advanced R programming, and a data science boot-camp.
Research fellows
Oncology and Pathology fellows with research interests in cancer genomics and data science are encouraged to join mskilab. Computational projects will involve integration of lab-generated, Englander institute of Precision Medicine, and publicly available cancer genomic sequencing data. Projects will depend on the level of programming, statistics and machine learning, and informatics. Fellows with limited experience but interest in these areas are encouraged to apply
